Cadle Craft is a relaxed, warm, gathering place for weddings, receptions, corporate team building & family celebrations. Nestled in the Montagu Mountains, Cadle Craft is just outside of vibrant and artistic Montagu, WC. The venue is a chameleon of sorts – equally suited for an elegant wedding as it is for an authentic South African braai.
Come saunter along the drive, relax on the stoep and enjoy the peace and beauty of our farm as the sun sets behind the mountains. Afterwards, you’ll understand why we call Cadle Craft – A Gathering Place.
About the Venue

There is no such thing as a “standard wedding” here at Cadle Craft; each couple has their personality and their weddings reflect that perfectly. Our experienced Wedding Coordinator and a stable of trusted local vendors will help you bring your vision to life.
Our facilities are versatile and accommodating, designed to encompass the change of seasons ensuring stunning weddings that embrace the picturesque Montagu surrounds. The beautifully manicured property offers an Indoor/Outdoor Event Center with a large stoep, a romantic tented area and unique furnitures perfect for rehearsal any wedding.
The Shed

The old shed that was built in the late 1930's beams with rustic history. Bare walls, oregon pine barn doors and trussers gives a cozy atmosphere perfect for exchanging vows with key family and friends in attendance

The marquee is open to guests during the entire celebration and becomes the main area during cocktail hour. While the bridal party makes use of the vineyard for photographs, guests can enjoy the comfortable and inviting atmosphere of veranda.

Mimicking the classic ballrooms of grand Victorian estates, the main venue blurs the lines between elegance and rustic. Majestic chandeliers seem to float, unaided, above the dance floor and grand majestic linens.
The Foyer
Majestic Entrances and High Ceilings
The Foyer and Tasting room welcomes you with wooden double doors opening to the stoep, with quick access to the Marquee and bar. Perfect for smaller and intimate weddings.

With South Africa's comprehensive legislation and our authentic process attest to our brandy being of the highest quality. Our first pot still brandy was therefore produced in June 2010 after 3 years in wooded barrels. The fact that in the first year of production we were awarded a bronze VERITAS was an assessment of our dedication.
